For more than two decades, Mr. Paul led EagleBank in Bethesda as chairman, president, and CEO. He built the premier regional bank from the ground up, attaining $8 billion in managed funds and 25 office locations. Under his watch, EagleBank maintained a nationwide top ranking among community financial institutions in metrics such as growth, profitability, loan losses, and efficiencies.

Mr. Paul has been recognized as Washingtonian of the Year and earned the Washington Business Hall of Fame’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his corporate accomplishments. Having received a pair of life-saving kidney transplants, he established a kidney center at George Washington University Hospital that meets community needs for transplantation and education.
